Summary: My friend and I have stayed at several properties in the NC mountains over the years and this property is by far the best we've ever booked! The cabin is beautiful, newly updated, immaculate, and fully appointed. (Frankly, we can't think of any detail that was missed.) The bedrooms and bathrooms are first-class and extremely comfortable. The layout (identical east and west bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom) is perfect for two friends or two couples. There is a full binder of instructions and everything is clearly marked in the cabin. We had a wonderful, peaceful stay. The view from the back deck is stunning. The drive up the mountain is a bit long and the driveway leading to the cabin is very narrow. (At times it runs close to a drop off.) For this reason, we made sure not to venture out at night. It takes at least 40-45 minutes to get to anything in the area and Wilkesboro is a bit limited in choices. You may wish to venture a little further into Boone, Blowing Rock, etc. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be booking this property!
