Positive: My stay at Zhangjiajie Serenity Valley was excellent. The room was large, spotless, and very comfortable, with a great shower, an automatic toilet, a big cozy bed, and a spectacular mountain view. The jacuzzi was a great bonus. Breakfast is in Chinese style, but you can request eggs if you prefer. There are no restaurants nearby, but the hotel’s own restaurant is very convenient, with fair prices and generous portions. The location is ideal: about 10 minutes by car from both the South and South-East gates of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, 50–60 minutes to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon (Glass Bridge), and about 20–30 minutes to Tianmen Mountain. I also had no problems using Didi to move around. The staff can arrange tickets and help organize your visit, and they were incredibly kind and helpful with every request. A wonderful place with TRULY SWEET people. Fully recommended.
