Positive: Conveniently located straight of west street, in the very center of the city. In the evening Yangshuo changes into a carnival, but the hostel is just far enough away from the main roads not to be bothered by the noise. This property has still “the good old vibe of backpacking” although nowadays there are just Chinese tourists. It’s a very relaxed hotel with a shared living room at the entrance and a roof bar at the top. The view from the roof terrace is mind blowing. The friendly owners were very helpful to get us bicycles and responded fast to a minor issue.

Negative: The decoration is perhaps a bit outdated but that did not bother us, we actually liked the vibe.

Summary: Simple , conveniently located, and a good atmosphere.
