Escape to The Beach House on the beautiful sunny south shore of Kaua'i. The Beach House is an ocean-front home, sitting literally 30 feet from the water's edge with 210-degree ocean views. You can hear the crashing waves from every room of this impeccably clean 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home. The lanai/deck stretches out from the rear of the house, giving you a perfect spot to watch the local surfers catch the massive breaking waves on the outside reef, enjoy the breathtaking sunset each evening, or watch the playful sea turtles at the water’s edge. If you like snorkeling, some of the best on the island is right outside your back door. If you prefer the sand, white sandy beaches are only steps away on either side of the property, and the warm Hawaiian water is always inviting. At night, your reality will seamlessly become a dream with the sound of the waves just outside.
The Beach House is a spotlessly clean, open style single-story Hawaiian floorplan, with glass walls across the back. The property features a front-row ocean view from almost everywhere inside this 3-bedroom, 3-bath home. It is completely private with tropical surroundings, sitting on the shore of a tranquil cove with lava rock and coral reefs on both sides, giving you an unobstructed ocean view and privacy from neighbors. You will fall in love with this place the moment you enter the front door and experience the breathtaking ocean panorama at your feet. Any closer and you would be in a boat. Relax on the large lanai, with the warm refreshing trade wind breeze and fragrant tropical smells of the plumeria trees and flowers of Kaua'i.
In 2021 we completed a major renovation and re-build of the Beach House. Everything inside and out is modernized and brand new (from windows, doors, roof, cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, flooring, to even the furniture, etc.). The 1800 square foot home features an enormous, open living-dining area, a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with a large pantry, and inside laundry facilities. A California king bed is in the master bedroom. The second and third bedrooms both offer queen sized beds. All baths have Caesarstone counter tops, and top of the line European designed fixtures. One-piece Toto toilets are in all three baths. All linens and towels are provided, including plenty of large beach towels.
The newly renovated Beach House offers quality features throughout. The kitchen has a fabulous ocean view and is fully equipped with everything you will need to create great gourmet meals. It is large, with a center island five burner induction cook top. All appliances (refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, and microwave) are top of the line digital stainless-steel KitchenAid units.
Relax in the living room, dining room, or family room areas with amazing ocean views, on comfortable tropical bamboo furnishings. A wall mounted 42-inch LDC digital TV is available with the full array of HD Roku apps. High speed Wi-Fi (wireless) Internet service is also available to facilitate your digital world.
The Beach House is a custom designed tropical retreat. The interior has glass walls that open wide to the large lanai, where waves lap the reef only steps away. A gas barbecue is outside on the deck, for casual cooking. Ceiling fans are in each room, to enhance the cool, scented breeze of the trade winds. And, when you return from the beach, or if you just want to cool off, an outdoor, hot/cold shower is in a private corner of the rear yard under tall coconut trees, overlooking the sparkling ocean and reef. This home is not just another rental property but is impeccably maintained by the local owner inside and out. After your stay, you will cherish the memories of your visit for a lifetime.
Situated on a single lane road, the Beach House, Kaua’i is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, yet located close to all of Poipu’s amenities. There are several world class beaches located only a few minutes away, along with golf courses, tennis courts, shopping, and restaurants. Take a walk, hike, or jog to explore Kauai’s south shore. The home is a quiet paradise, but close to all the activities you will want to enjoy. It is in the perfect location to enjoy the many activities in Po'ipu and on the entire south shore of the island. From the house it’s a short walk to shopping and dining at The Shops at Kukui'ula, an upscale shopping village of restaurants, boutiques, and galleries. In the other direction, only a 5-minute walk away, is the well-known Beach House Restaurant, on the shoreline to the west, where you can enjoy a special romantic gourmet dinner at the water’s edge. Several beautiful beaches are also within a short walk from the house. Take a longer walk to the National Tropical Botanical Gardens to view exotic tropical plants endemic of Hawaii and Spouting Horn, a natural blowhole formed from the ocean’s erosion of the lava shoreline. You can also plan a golf or spa day at the nearby Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa. It’s only a 5-minute drive to Old Koloa Town, a quaint historical sugar plantation-era village for shopping, groceries, or one of the south-side’s best Farmer's Markets.
