Owl House is situated at the base of the Catalina Foothills on a 1.25 private acre lot. The house sits on a hill overlooking the Catalina mountains and a protected wildlife riparian habitat. There are four private bedrooms including two separate primary suites each with their own private bathrooms featuring Tedalakt plaster rainwater showers and custom wood vanities (one was even made for us by a local Tucson woodworker!). The upstairs suite has a coffee and tea bar so you don't even need to go downstairs, you can grab a cup and head out onto the massive patio and watch the sunrise.
In fact, every room at Owl House has its own balcony or patio with stunning views. The primary suite downstairs has an outdoor shower as well.
The two primary suites each have a king bed as does one of the other bedrooms. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed. Each room has a wall mounted smart TV, built in closets (two walk-in closets for the primary suites) and each come with two plush bathrobes for you to use during your stay.
The pillow closet: having stayed in many an Airbnb, we HATE when the pillows are uncomfortable, so we have procured soft, medium, and firm pillows to choose from, so that each and every one of our guests gets a perfect night's sleep.
The kitchen is fully (and we mean FULLY) equipped. You have a 48-inch eight burner stove, three ovens, all the utensils, pots, pans, baking dishes and baking pans, bowls, etc. You will also be loaded with tons of spices, baking ingredients, multiple oil options, and a communal pantry where guests can use and leave items. Also, we will always have regular and decaf coffee for you as well as an assortment of teas. We also have a smart speaker for music/news/etc.
Two-car garage is yours, we also have an outlet for an EV (just bring your charging cable).
For families traveling with little ones, we have a highchair, pack-and-play, step stool, dishes, sippie cups, etc.
Finally, you are going to LOVE the outdoor area. We have a knife-edge pool and 8X8 hot tub (which fits eight people with plenty of room to spare), chaise lounges, full outdoor dining table, fire pit, Spanish-style front courtyard, and views for days...
Being atop a riparian area, while here you may get a chance to see our resident bobcats, coyotes, javelinas, deer, and a whole host of other amazing desert creatures, including, of course, the owls. It is so peaceful out and silent at night, it is hard to believe that you are only 15 minutes from downtown and UofA as well as 5-10 mins away from some of Tucson's best restaurants and golf.
