Welcome to our serene, architect-designed mid-century retreat. Immerse yourself in nature on the tranquil screened deck with private forest views. Sink into high-end Casper memory foam mattresses (2 kings, 2 queens) in all four thoughtfully designed bedrooms. Relax in the fully equipped chef's kitchen, spacious wood-beam living room, and separate media room with 85" 4K theater and championship foosball table. A crackling firepit and abundant books and games complete the experience.
BEDROOMS
Each of the 4 lovely bedrooms features a new, high-end king or queen Casper mattress, feather and memory-foam pillows, a wall-mounted TV subscribed to all the streaming services, abundant power outlets, sound machines, fans, and forest views out of every window. Both king bedrooms have their own bathroom. The huge downstairs bath suite includes a roman soaking tub and double rain shower. All luxury spa products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion) are sulfate-, paraben-, and phalate-free, and are cruelty-free and vegan.
KITCHEN
The spotless, newly renovated chef's kitchen is totally equipped for everyday and holiday meals, including more dishware and silverware than you could possibly need, children’s dishes, and many kinds of baking dishes, pots, and pans. We provide olive oil, balsalmic vinegar, salt & pepper, Keurig pods, sugar, stevia, tea, and a French press. Need a springform pan, citrus reamer, rolling pin and zester? We've got all that and more.
WORKSPACES
In addition to the dining table, screened porch, and media room, there are 2 dedicated desk workspaces: one in the downstairs foyer near the king suite, and one in the second upstairs queen bedroom. Our wifi is lightning fast, and cell service is great.
MEDIA ROOM
The basement media room is outfitted with an 85" 4K home theater system complete with Sonos sound bar and incredibly comfortable seating. Not to mention a fridge and top-of-the-line foosball table!
CHILDREN
If you are traveling with children, please feel free to contact us for more details on the child-friendly amenities we provide. We would love to have a conversation with you to make sure you and your children are comfortable and safe. Please note that the home is is NOT baby-proofed. You are responsible for supervising your child near stairs, cabinets, cleaning supplies, outlets, outdoor areas, etc. Our own small children do great in the house! But we always supervise very carefully, and we ask that you do the same.

This is our private retreat, and we are so glad to share it with you. Every time we leave this home, we return to our everyday lives refreshed and relaxed. That is our hope for you! When we found this property, we realized it was a “unicorn.” Close to the city, and yet so peaceful and tucked into nature that it feels like a forest getaway. This kind of stylish, authentic mid-century architectural design is a rarity in this area, and we simply could not resist the tranquility and beauty of this unique property. We hope you enjoy the thought and care we have put in to making this the sort of vacation home we have always wanted for ourselves!
NOISE & EVENT POLICY
Parties, events, parking more than 5 cars, unregistered guests (without written permission) and noise are not permitted under ANY circumstances. This is an exceptionally quiet, safe, and peaceful residential neighborhood, and neighbors include families and the elderly. Any noise above a peaceful residential level will not be tolerated and will result in immediate expulsion from the property, fines, a report to Airbnb, and possible law enforcement action. We have exterior security cameras and decibel-monitoring devices around the exterior of the property to ensure the peace, quiet, and safety of the neighborhood and guests. If you would like to host an event, gathering or party, please continue your search, as this is absolutely not it. Thank you!
