Within a 5min up to 1h drive numerous castles, palaces can be found! (Palace & gardens of Mafra, UNESCO's village of Sintra, plenty of castles and botanical gardens, medieval city Obidos and off course the city of Lisbon.
Not the type of person to catch sun all day? No worries, there are plenty of sportive options around!
* Watersports: - surfing: located near Europe's only World Surf Reserve (WSR) options are endless. From beach-and reef breakes to points and A-frames ... it's all there ... go out and explore !!
But remember: 'When in doubt ... don't paddle out' !!!
* Hiking & Cycling: trail maps for hikes and MTB routes are available for free in the accommodation. For road cycling the terrain has lots of challenges to offer!
