Welcome to Idyllwild, a beautiful new home with cozy, high-end furnishings and everything you're looking for in a Lake Michigan vacation home.

Upon entering the home and walking through the beautiful front porch and foyer you'll see a spacious living space to your right and a large, chef-quality kitchen to your left. Off the kitchen is an enormous butler's pantry with tons of space for groceries and drinks. The large Kitchen Island has seating for everyone and is just feet away from the enormous dining area. Just off the dining space is one of two large screen porchs with access to the home's spacious outdoor living space and private, in-ground pool.

The pool area itself is all the vacation you'll need with beautiful blue water and ample living space for lounging, dining, and enjoying the sunshine in the home's wooded lot.

Back inside off the main living space you'll see another private screened in porch with indoor fireplace and cozy space.

Summary: The house and location were just as advertised...a perfect getaway in Harbor Country. 3 of the 4 bathrooms on the second floor backed up to the point of no use on day 1 and 2, through no fault of us. Someone came out right away with drano and that didn't work. We called again, and due to the weekend a plumber couldn't come until the end of the weekend. He found a bar of soap and feminine products in the system (none of which we placed there). We know things happen, and we still had a great stay. It was pretty inconvenient sharing the one working upstairs bathroom in the master, especially with the price of the rental. We did appreciate the treats the management company brought over, and understand that the timing and plumbing issue could not be predicted.
