This home is tucked in the trees near a creek. It is common to see animals, mice, and other vermin. The property is serviced monthly by a professional pest company, but sometimes critters do sneak in. Please let us know right away if you see evidence of anything inside and we will send out pest control. No rate adjustments can be made for animals, critters, bugs, or vermin in or around the house.
This home is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. If you flush other items, such a feminine products, it will cause a sewage backup into the showers and yard. Please only flush toilet paper.
This home receives water via well. Due to the high mineral content in our area, this water smells and tastes different than city water. Those who are accustomed to city water may wish to bring bottled water for drinking.
The fireplace in the living room is wood burning and is only available for use in the winter months. When the fireplace is on, the heat will shut off. Please leave the door to the stairway ajar so the heat can flow to the lower level.
The screen porch is attached to a shed in the backyard, not to the main house. This porch is only available during the summer months.
The hot tub is serviced regularly by a professional service company. Use it at your own risk.
The driveway is 400' long. On snowy winter days it might not be totally plowed. A four wheel drive vehicle may be needed to reach the house. You can also park in the lower spots and walk up the hill. Please be careful. Coming down the curved driveway can be tricky. There is a path marked with a yellow rope through the woods from the lower parking spots to the house if the driveway is slippery.
