Summary: The Chedi in Ninghai is highly recommended for its location. The multiple villas are all located around the mountains with various views. The property has only 1 main restaurant which primarily caters to the local cuisine. Very little English spoken by the staff and hence difficult for expats to navigate around and had to use Wechat to-communicate. We were fortunate to have Billy Liang's help at the restaurant as he could communicate in English and help us with the food selection.The overall ambience and quality of service does not live up to the Chedi expectation. Feels like a very good investment on Hardware but not enough care taken to provide the right software at this property. Seriously lacking the touch of a quality property which commands a nightly rate of $500 .
