Come to the Smoky Mountains for an unforgettable vacation. Whether you want to be close to all the Smoky Mountain activities, or just kick back and relax at a beautiful ridge top cabin, we offer it all!
Sitting at the top of Fontana Ridge, our guests will enjoy plenty of privacy and breathtaking panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The large covered back porch has plenty of seating to enjoy the views, plus ceiling fans to keep you cool in the warmer weather. The porch overlooks an outdoor living area which includes a park-like charcoal grill (charcoal not provided), two person hammock, and a comfortable new five-person hot tub. Just added in Aug. 2023 new firepit area. Enjoy the beauty of the night sky from the porch, hot tub or firepit area.
The great room features two sets of French doors that bring the mountain views inside. The vaulted ceiling gives you a sense of space, while the wood-burning fireplace makes the great room cozy and warm in the cooler months. The room is comfortably furnished to enjoy a 55" flatscreen TV with a HULU Live subscription.
The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glassware, cookware and the small appliances needed to prepare any meal. It also features a regular coffee maker and a Keurig (K cups are not provided), so you can enjoy that fresh cup of coffee while watching the sunrise.
The primary bedroom has a king-size bed and a picture window that provides a beautiful view of the mountain range. When not looking at the view, you can turn on the flatscreen Roku TV and watch your favorite shows.
There are two guest bedrooms with comfortable queen beds and ceiling fans. Each room has a flatscreen Roku TV with a HULU live subscription. One of the guest bedrooms has a large picture window with wonderful views of the mountains.
From the loft area you can still enjoy the mountain views. The loft has two twin beds and overlooks the great room.
Please note that we do not allow pets. And we do not allow smoking in the house or on the deck areas.
Mountain View Dream is centrally located to many Smoky Mountain activities. We are just 15 minutes from downtown Bryson City, which is home to the Great Smoky Mountain Railway. Fontana Lake is just a short drive away. Here you can fish, swim, or rent a pontoon boat for the day. The Nantahala Outdoor Center has whitewater rafting, ziplining, horseback riding, and biking. Deep Creek, just outside downtown Bryson City, has hiking trails, tubing, and a scenic picnic area by the creek.
If golfing is your sport, the Smoky Mountain Country Club has a beautiful course that is open to the public.
Bryson City is a charming town with unique shops, restaurants, and breweries. Bryson City was voted one of the "Top Ten Outdoor Towns in the East" by Outdoor Magazine. USA Today featured Bryson City as "one of the 5 Most Charming American Towns with Mountain Views."
Fontana Road, where the cabin is located, is a private and quiet neighborhood. The roads are all paved and not too steep. Please be aware that once you enter Fontana Ridge, the speed limit is only 15 mph for safety reasons.
