Summary: We really enjoyed our stay on Bald Head Island and this VRBO in the Hammocks development was easily one of the nicest vacation rentals we have stayed in. We had between 3 and 6 adults (2 parents, 4 college-age kids), and always had plenty of space. Clean, comfortable 3 BR, with great amenities and excellent communication with the owners. The Hammocks staff were also very nice and readily available if needed. Would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend it. For restaurants on BHI, don't miss Jailhouse Provisions (near the Maritime Market and a short golf cart drive from The Hammocks). Great food and drinks, similar menu to Jules but a lot less expensive. Also please visit and support the BHI Conservancy (great educational programs and gift shop)
