CALYPSO BOUTIQUE APARTMENTS is a brand new touristic establishment with a long tradition. The apartments were built in the 70´s and completely renovated in 2017 under new management and ownership in collaboration of a renowned Spanish architect office, an established local construction firm and a well-known French designer. As a result, we are proud to present to you these ideally located, contemporary and light-flooded, apartments offered to adults only that re-opened in early 2018.
The complex has 10 spacious apartments facing South-East with the sun on the terrace from the early hours till the afternoon, a sun-deck with sunbeds and heated salt-water swimming pool and wonderful sea and mountain views, a garden and modern barbecue area in the shadow of our old palm trees rescued from a previous life, a reception and a gym for our guests exclusively.
The apartments are self-catering. Our multi-language reception offers you help in booking excursions and transfers, making recommendations and reservations for restaurants in the area.
The Apartments – all our apartments have a modern design and a fresh feel, they consist of a living room with a large, folding glass door to the private terrace, an open-plan kitchen, a comfortable sofa, television, internet and air-conditioning, a bathroom with shower, an airconditioned bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe and desk. Each apartment has a spacious private terrace with a gorgeous sea view and the best sun-conditions of the area.
The Area – Agua la Perra is the quietest part of the popular tourist town of Puerto Rico in the sunny South of Gran Canaria. Ideal for couples or individuals looking for a hideaway and yet wanting to be close to the beach and town centre. The area boasts with the world´s best climate, its winters being mild with temperatures between 20-25 degrees Celsius, and its Summers moderately hot, almost never exceeding temperatures in the 30´s.
Puerto Rico has a sandy beach with restaurants and bars directly on the beach front, and two harbours with a vibrant life all year round. There are three shopping centres, one only a stone-throw away from our apartments, where you can shop for food or go out for a nice evening enjoying excellent meals of the Canary Islands or international cuisine.
Apart from our on-site gym, you will find great opportunities to practise sports nearby. Just a few steps from us there is a large tennis centre and one of the most popular walkways of the South. You can walk as far as Arguineguin over the mountains, enjoying the excellent views and the Canarian sunshine. By the beach you have plenty of activities on offer from jetskies to fishing cruises, etc.
