My house is in a rural village I live in Brest I rent it out when I am not staying here to keep it occupied. All the neighbours are Bulgarian but alot of the young people speak a little English. In walking distance we have a local shop supermarket sports bar local library you can take a walk they 20 minutes. A local pub is only 2 doors away from the house where the Bulgarians drink. The houses around are mostly farms which they have they own cattle. I don't have no animals at my house only the old stray cat that may visit. If you like the countryside and wilderness this is the place for you. The house is 2 bedroom 1 shower and toilet room no bath. In the kitchen front room have a double sofa bed, washing machine cooker ideal for self catering. Have a patio balcony which you sit on the lovely sunny evenings and a swimming pool which will be set up from May to October which is not heated but the sun gets it warm. You can hire a car from the airport at your extra cost which can be very cheap if you like to travel around. Pleven is the nearest main big town is about 50 minutes buy car or local bus from the village. Once you have been to Bulgaria you will be back as it does grow on you and very stress free here.
