Positive: The apartment is cozy and has a good location, with free parking in the nearby streets. Fresh fruit and vegetables market across the street every day. We were a family of 5 making trips every day. The sandy beach and grocery shops, restaurants were 5 5-minute walk. I highly value the accessibility by car to interesting places nearby ( Tharos, Is Arustas, Cabras, Sale Porcus salty lake, Capo Manu, Putzu Idu). The apartment was clean, and communication was smooth with the owner. Antimosquito nets are installed on the windows, which we highly appreciate.
Negative: Walking on the stairs and rooms upstairs in the attic causes sound/noice which wakes up those sleeping on the ground floor bedroom. The two bedrooms in the attic feel hot in the summer, and the air-conditioning was not able to cool them for the night. I think this is the problem of all summer Mediterranean locations. Sleeping well under the roof is just hard to achieve during summer. I can imagine it is no problem in early summer or in autumn.
