This mountain retreat is your gateway to everything you love about the Catskills in all seasons: 12 minutes from Hunter Mountain, 25 from Belleayre and Windham, a small private sauna, shared access to a private pool and tennis court, steps from the breathtaking Diamond Notch Trail, and a short drive to Phoenicia or Tannersville and all the shopping, restaurants and ice cream they have to offer.
The heart of this 1,800-sq ft home is the majestic great room with cathedral ceiling and an open kitchen that’s perfect for multi-family gatherings, from movie nights around our 70” smart TV to quiet evenings or game nights around the wood-burning fireplace. The dining set with seating for eight is the perfect place to gather around and share a meal with family and friends.
Step through our three 6’ sliding-glass doors to the elevated wraparound deck, which provides gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and tree-lined terrain, as well as the perfect vantage point from which to watch your kids as they play in the pool, on the tennis court, or sled down the sloping front lawn.
Downstairs you will find three well-sized bedrooms, a small sauna, and full laundry facilities.
Step outside, and you are surrounded by the beauty of the Catskills, with a nearby creek and Diamond Notch Trail. Take a hike, wade in the water, and explore nature, all without getting in your car.
When you’re ready to explore the area, Hunter, Phoenicia, and Tannsersville are all a 10-15 minute drive, offering charming restaurants (including the famous Phoenicia Diner), antique shops, ice cream parlors, grocery stores, bars, and more. Other nearby attractions (aside from the skiing) include the Empire Railway Museum and the Catskill Rail Explorers, a unique pedal-powered journey along antique trail tracks.

Other things to note
Our house is located on a very quiet—but not isolated—street that leads to Diamond Notch Trail. We are part of a small community that mutually maintains the pool and tennis court. Our location is perfect both for families with young children looking for playmates and adults-only groups looking for a peaceful, private getaway. Quiet hours are 10pm to 6am.
Though our house offers strong high-speed wifi, there is little-to-no cell service in the area, so be sure to screenshot directions before you begin your journey.
The house is in the mountains so please keep the sliders closed at night or when you are away from the house. We love houseguests and bears, but we don't want bears as houseguests. (And sorry, but there’s a strict no-pets policy)
There is a shared dumpster at the base of the driveway for garbage.
