Please message us for rates 3 weeks and longer. This two bedroom, one bathroom cottage is a short 3 minute walk to a large private community dock with freshwater springs off each side. It is conveniently located in the Kings Bay area, and close to all the local restaurants and downtown shopping. From the dock you can swim, fish and watch manatees swim, mullet jump daily. We have two adult kayaks and two children’s kayaks (life jackets are provided for each one) available for our guests.
This home is fully furnished and there are 3 flat screen TVs with Internet access through Roku TVs and Amazon Fire Sticks, so you have access to HULU, NETFLIX, Disney+ and other enjoyable programming. There are 2 queen beds in the bedrooms, the sun porch has a day bed with a trundle pull out and the living room has a couch that pulls out into another bed, so there's plenty of sleeping room for a larger family. For your convenience, we provide FREE wireless Internet. We have a high-efficiency washer and dryer available for your use. Linens and towels are provided for your use. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook an entire meal (crock pot, blender, griddle, coffee pot that makes 12 cups). Enjoy our backyard, very private, with an outdoor shower, fire pit, seating and market lights strung above. A charcoal BBQ grill is also provided for outdoor grilling. The floating dock has plenty of space to bring your boat and also a great area for families to swim and snorkel. Nestled in this cove you are very close to The Plantaton Resort on Crystal River which other friends and family can stay so you can all enjoy the great outdoors together, either scalloping, fishing, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, spa, golfing and tennis. This home is 2 miles from both Hunter Springs & Three Sisters Springs, approximately 30 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and a quick 5 minutes to all restaurants and shopping. Crystal River is home to the best scalloping in Florida and the only place in North America where you can legally swim with manatees. During the summer, you can catch freshwater bass and blue crabs right off the dock. Offshore, there is terrific shallow and deep-water grouper fishing. Spear fishing is very popular in this area. Within a short drive, there is a mall with a multiplex movie theater, restaurants and shopping in historic downtown Crystal River, kayaking, Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, walking and bike trails, scuba diving, and swimming with the manatees. The house is only a short walk from the Crystal River Archaeological Museum and surrounded by the Crystal River State Park Buffer Reserve. Plan a day trip to any of the nine state parks within 50 miles or work on your back swing at one of the 12 nearby golf courses. You will make memories to last a lifetime here!
