The home is directly fronting beautiful serene ecological Lagoon Preserve with over 200 different types of bird species visiting throughout the year.
Just a 1.5 miles to Southern California's seven miles of beautiful beaches
This ultra-modern home is brand new from the ground up with construction completed in 2016. It sleeps a total of 5 persons: Master bedroom sleeps 2 on new queen mattress and alternate room can either have 2 twin beds or can be put together to make one king size bed. (Please let us know ahead of time if need 2 twins or 1 king) In addition, there is a comfortable pullout sofa in the living room which can sleep 1 person for a total of 5 people maximum. There are separate door closing bathrooms for each room.
There are 2 patios with chairs and a table to enjoy your favorite beverage and relax with a beautiful view of the lagoon, ocean and California sunsets. The natural preserve lagoon and Pacific ocean really can't be beat. Most days you feel a gentle ocean breeze.
The home is located in the Carlsbad Village and is a 1.3 mile walk to the beach. The village offers many unique family-owned restaurants, bars, wine tasting and shopping. In the distant background you have the sound of the local commuter trains with a convenient Amtrak station in the Village to take you to Downtown San Diego, Legoland is only 5 miles away. Of course, Sea World, The Zoo, Balboa Park, Mission Bay, Old Town and much more is approx. 30 miles.
Beautifully decorated and extremely clean inside and out. This is true luxury living.
The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, knives, pots and pans; there's also a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, blender, toaster, Keurig coffee maker (with free pods), electric stove top and oven. Nearly all that you need to cook the manner you prefer while on vacation in this beach community.
Also, for your convenience there is a washer/dryer, linens and towels, iron/steamer; hair dryer and toiletries.
Note 1: The lagoon is a natural ecological preserve so you will occasionally have small insects depending on season and climate.
Note 2: We cannot offer early check-in or late check out as the property is usually fully booked and requires 4 hours cleaning and disinfection in between guests. Arrangements to drop-off luggage early can be made.
Note 3: Pets are not allowed including Support animals. Owner has severe allergy to pet hair (dander) and has been hospitalized due to allergic reactions.
