Summary: My husband and I stayed here for 5 weeks to relax and be next to the ocean, and the experience was unforgettable. First of all, the owners are both very responsive and were always helpful with anything we needed - whether it was getting directions, needing more hangers for the closet, or wanting a bike to ride around town - they were on it! The unit is brand new and so clean and organized. We are very picky when it comes to staying somewhere and need to feel comfortable, and this home was like living in our own house. It is well stocked with appliances (we like to cook at home a lot) and our parking space is right next to the unit so you don't have to walk far to come and go. The location is hard to beat! We often walked into town to get coffee or dinner, and if you're a runner or like to go on long walks, you're only a few steps to beach access. We also used the new gym on a regular basis, and would often take a dip in the hot top while watching the sun go down. If you love hanging out at the beach, the concierge staff can help arrange equipment, towels, ect., to make your perfect day at the beach easy and stress free. You won't find a better place to stay in Carlsbad for the price, and I highly recommend this unit for your next vacation!
