Single family home on .73 acre. 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 2276 sq. ft. plus huge screened in patio porch overlooking wildlife refuge greenbelt. Newly-furnished. New 55 inch and 49 inch HD TV's, new Weber gas grill, new bedroom sets and mattresses, new outdoor furniture.
We have river access 5 minutes away either at KP Hole or Rainbow Springs State Park. We have available for use a double kayak and two single kayaks. Rainbow Springs State Park is our favorite place to swim, year round. The park also has delightful hiking trails through waterfalls, butterfly gardens and is home to thousands of cardinals and other wildlife.
Sit on our porch overlooking nature, commune with a hawk in the back yard tree, watch a deer grazing or a rabbit running by, a cardinal family eating at the bird feeder, a woodpecker in another tree. Sit out there at night, shut off the lights and be mesmerized by the fireflies.
Master bedroom has king bed with new 49 inch TV and comfortable leather reclining chair for TV watching if you don't want to sit in bed. Two large walk-in closets. Private master bathroom with 2 vanities, shower and separate oversized soaking tub. . Second bedroom has brand new queen bed and mattress and third bedroom has 2 brand new twin beds and mattresses. Second full bathroom and third half bathroom can be accessed from either bedroom.The study has separate entrance with new double sofa bed and really comfortable upgraded mattress and can be used as fourth bedroom. WiFi throughout home. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, refrigerator, oven, stove and microwave,central a/c, garage, linens, towels, dishes, pots and pans and utensils, coffee maker, toaster, pantry items, iron and board, hair dryer. Fire alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher.
Children are welcome; however, no pets and no smoking.Boats, RV's and trailers are not allowed on property due to Homeowners Association Rules; however, canoes, kayaks and bikes can be put in garage.

Dunnellon is minutes away, a charming town with casual dining on the river (we like Swampy's and the very fresh mahi sandwich), boat rentals, canoe or kayak rentals or tubing.
During the winter months, rent a pontoon in Crystal River, about a fifteen minute drive, bring your snorkel gear and swim with the manatees. (The snorkeling is also fabulous in Rainbow Springs).
If you are a golfer, there is an 18 hole great course including wonderful restaurant, just 5 minutes away, and another 9 hole course also 5 minutes away. Both are open to the public.
Many guests rent our home during the HITS events in the winter. HITS is 25 to 30 minutes away.
If you are into fishing, nearby Lake Rousseau is famous for bass fishing. Ocala is a twenty minute drive if you need a city and shopping malls; however, Dunnellon has a great Winn Dixie and Publix less than 5 minutes away, a Walmart that's open 24 hours a day, Walgreens, CVS and more than enough to allow you to enjoy your vacation in a laid back environment.
The people are super friendly. There are many other quaint towns to visit within an hour drive or less, including Weeki Wachee State Park with famous mermaid shows. But you can just swim in Rainbow Springs every day, come back to this home and be perfectly serene, content and fulfilled.
