Beautiful, open and airy, this expansive 2800+ sq ft Eastham home boasts stunning views across the marsh out to Cape Cod Bay. From the golden hues of sunset to the expanse of evening stars, delight in the natural beauty of this marsh-front setting. The home is well-appointed with a wrap-around deck, screened porch, and walls of windows to take in the views. Natural light is abundant throughout the day, and you will instantly feel at home in this gorgeous property. Dogs are welcome here as well!
Inside, the home boasts plenty of living space, and it is easy for families and groups to spread out or gather together without feeling cramped. Enter through the foyer and into the great room, which features cathedral ceilings, skylights and a wall of sliders onto the back deck. You will see beautiful views of the marsh as soon as you walk through the front door. The great room opens into the kitchen and dining area on one side, and the main level primary suite on the other. Downstairs in the walkout basement there is a family room and ping pong room, and upstairs in the loft there is TV area with sectional sofa. There will be 3 TVs total for summer - one in basement, one in loft and one in the garage apartment. All will be smart TVs with streaming capabilities.
The home has 4 bedrooms, including an above-garage apartment suite. The apartment has its own full bathroom and a private balcony with a small table to sit and enjoy morning coffee with views of the marsh. In the main house, there is a primary suite on the main level with queen bed and luxurious private bathroom with jacuzzi tub and shower. The primary suite also has private access to the screened porch, and stays very cool throughout the day and night. The upstairs bedrooms are equally as spacious and well-appointed, each with beautiful marsh and bay views. All bedrooms are equipped with portable fans, AC and ceiling fans.
For days out exploring, you are only 1 minute/0.1 mile from Herring Pond for swimming and kayaking or canoeing, and under 5 minutes/1 mile from First Encounter Beach. The bike trail is an easy 3 minute/0.5 mile bike ride from the house, and ocean beaches are under 10 minutes by car. Downtown Orleans is under 10 minutes and can be reached via back roads so you don't have to deal with traffic on Rt 6. This is an ideal and very central Eastham location!

Our house is in a wonderful private location on the marsh behind First Encounter Beach and is a nature lover's delight. We have beautiful views of the marsh and wildlife from the deck and throughout the house. There are a variety of gardens around the house which attract birds and butterflies and even a shade garden with it’s own path. Enjoy great views of sunsets right off our deck and wonderful stars at night. Herring Pond, a beautiful fresh water pond with great swimming is less than a 5 minute walk away. Take an inner tube from the garage and enjoy floating around the pond. First Encounter beach is a mile away and is a wonderful bay beach for families with calm water and a tidal river for swimming. Beautiful ocean beaches, Nauset Light and Coast Guard, are approximately 4 miles away and can be reached easily by bicycle or car. The Cape Cod Rail trail is close by and provides miles off the bike paths to Wellfleet to the north and Dennis to the South.We hope you love our home as much as we do!
