SEE THE INFORMATION FOR SUMMER BELOW --- WINTER INFORMATION -- Schuss Mountain offers 46 runs and we are located at the foot of the blue quad chairlift. Truly a ski in and ski out accommodation. The quad chair lift located in front of the building makes waiting in line a thing of the past. Online (shantycreekresort.com) you may rent equipment and pick up the day of arrival, Rental equipment is available for board, skis, snowshoes and Nordic equipment. Lessons for every ability from beginner to advanced are available daily you may schedule online in advance. Extreme tubing is available at Cedar River and the shuttle bus will take you to the site. The indoor pool, sauna and hot tub are only a one minute walk across the circle. Ivan's restaurant is across from the pool. Ivan's is a restaurant with a buffet and pub. On most weekend there is a live band. Special events are scheduled every weekend.
SUMMER: The indoor pool is open however, the main lodge and Ivan's Pub and Restaurant is closed. The Schuss side of the resort is mainly used during the winter months to accommodate the snow activities. The golf course at Schuss Mountain is open as well as three other course on resort property. An indoor water park at Boyne is 20 miles away. The Grass River nature area with hiking trails is open to the public at no charge. There are casinos in Traverse City and Petoskey.
Directions: Schuss Village is easy to find just follow the signs from M-88 into the village. You will be given complete directions and the door lock code upon confirming your reservation.
