Located on the Peaceful Side of the Smokies on a quiet cul-de-sac within the Laurel Valley gated community. The cabin is just minutes from the northwest entrance of the Smoky Mountain National Park, Tuckaleechee Caverns, horseback riding, and river tubing. We have so much to offer and welcome you to come experience Laurel Log Lodge, new to the overnight rental market.
Upon arriving at this genuine log cabin, you will find a long concrete driveway to accommodate up to 6 vehicles. Approaching the entrance to the cabin, feel free to take a rest on one of our porch rockers – you may not want to get up as it is a peaceful place to rest, relax, and enjoy the large front yard.
Entering our 3-level cabin, the main floor offers a spacious, rustic, open concept living/dining/kitchen with anything you would need to host family gatherings. Just outside the dining room, our deck provides the perfect spot for outdoor dining – a gas grill and two separate areas with tables and chairs. Back inside, take a stroll down the hall to the extra-large master suite that holds a king-size bed. The ensuite provides a soaking tub, walk-in shower, and entrance to the climate controlled all season's room. This space overlooks the 14th hole of the Wild Laurel Golf Course and opens to the deck.
Four more spacious bedrooms (3 with queen beds and one with 2 twins) are upstairs, along with two more full bathrooms! The rustic “Man Cave” bathroom (not just reserved for the fellas) hosts live edge countertops, a luxurious walk-in shower, and a large vanity counter. Full size washer and dryer are also located upstairs in one of the bathrooms.
Heading down to the lower level, this is where all kids big and small will want to be – shuffleboard, board games, TV, queen-over-queen bunk bed, full bathroom, kitchenette, and washer/dryer (maybe not kid approved but definitely mom approved). Beyond that, step outside and EVERYONE is happy! Kids will have a blast playing on the impressive, oversized playset*. Parents can soak in the hot tub or stretch out in a lawn chair and enjoy the beauty that surrounds the cabin. If you are feeling adventurous, try the trail that will lead you to a natural area once inhabited by Laurel Lake, now much smaller and with adjoining beaver ponds.
