Summary: Reason for Low comfort level was due to the unclear nature of the Kosher status of the hotel. The Meat Restaurant "Ranch House" is not Kosher and is open on Shabbat. Also, the Farm shop is open on Shabbat. The Hotel itself serves kosher Dairy food with a very good Hechsher from Rav Eliyahu of Tzfat, but if someone is going to stay for shabbat that is the only option. I think that given this is an Isrotel Exclusive Hotel they should be much more open about this. The reason the Meat restaurant is able to be non-kosher is that they say technically it is is not under the same roof as the hotel. This is quite misleading. I understand they are trying to cater to a more religious crowd, however, if they really want this to happen, then they should make the entire place kosher. Thank you.
