Only a block to downtown and 3 blocks to UGA, our 16-foot ceilings welcome you to the large open-format living & dining area w/ all stainless, hardwoods, slate & black walnut fireplace, loads of natural sunlight & flatscreen TV.
I created this comfortable cottage right next to downtown to be enjoyed.
This bright and sunny Athens home is very unique this close to town & UGA, yet it is surrounded by lush green space, delightful neighbors, and hip coffee shops and watering holes. It's a small-town cottage feel on the outside and fully furnished in comfort inside, yet with modern touches and amenities, like wine cooler, gas logs, porch chairs, hammocks, 3 showers and a pool (ok it's a dipping pool, but it's so relaxing). This little Athens classic dreamboat house is Ideal for football season, graduation & other special UGA events or North Georgia vacations. Also, it usually books up early (Feb-June for Fall football season & a year in advance for UGA graduation), so book now, and come enjoy it like we do.
This is a small but luxury modern Dwell-style 3 bedroom 3 bath custom-designed home in the shell of a quaint Craftsman cottage unique to downtown Athens, Georgia & the UGA area. We are just a block or two from the best restaurants, nightclubs, University of Georgia's UGA campus & all of downtown.

Hi, I'm Nelson Wells, music industry publicist in Athens. I built this cottage as my home & a place of solace for my twin daughters & me. You'll see it's an ideal modern build in classic cottage style just 3-blocks walk to downtown Athens, Georgia, so close to UGA you can hear the crowd in Sanford stadium on game day. Our home sleeps 7 comfortably with one top bunk or 6 adults in modern comfortable new queen and double mattresses.
