The Celebrity Estates & Spa is located in the heart of the Las Vegas Historic District. This historic home, walking distance to Downtown Las Vegas (Fremont Street Experience) and Las Vegas Blvd.’s north-end of The Las Vegas Strip, was first built in 1972, by “Jimmy the Greek” (Jimmy Snyder), the famous CBS sports commentator, and odds maker legend celebrity.
Jimmy “The Greek” and Dean Martin had been good friends since their childhood in Steubenville, Ohio so it was a regular occurrence to have Dean Martin and his pals; Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr Wayne Newton and Jerry Lewis as frequent guests at this beautiful home just blocks from the Las Vegas Strip. The home was considered a “safe haven” for members of the Rat Pack to escape the Las Vegas scene. It was a “Downtown Hideaway” for other celebrities as well, including the famous billionaire, Howard Hughes. The home's architecture is a testament to the city's rich cultural history and is a significant part of its historic preservation efforts. Jimmy also bought the home next door, helping us expand and complete the Celebrity Estates & Spa you see today. It is rumored that he had a tunnel built underground to connect the two houses. Allegedly, this is how the odds maker legend would escape from risky gambles made in his home.
To this day, many aspects of the home are still in original condition conserving Jimmy’s impeccable design and taste. The grand fireplace made of imported Italian quartz still glistens in the front great room of the house. The heated indoor 10 ft. deep pool with a waterfall feature still exhibits the “Las Vegas” grandeur Jimmy had originally intended. The circular driveway with electric security gates at each end on the perimeter of the home, as well as areas of the inside, still display the imported Greek stone Jimmy hand-selected.

Since then we have added many amenities that make it the ideal place to call home base while on your Las Vegas trip. For example, while sitting around the dining table, with seating for 14, overlooking the huge, indoor pool and waterfall many memories can be made between families and friends. Kick back and enjoy the arcade game room, foosball, billiards, ping pong, hot shot basketball game, motorcycle racing game, or even play some blackjack and poker while spending the afternoon cooking outside on the BBQ. Then, after putting the kids to bed, the adults love being able to wind down and relax in the steam room, sauna, relax in our massage chair or lay flat on the massage table.
