Exterior spaces are inviting guests to relax and enjoy the beauty of river, sit by the fire bowl, or enjoy a yard game with friends. there is an outdoor shower for convenience when returning from the beach or long day on the lake. the lower level multi purpose space has a laundry area and open space for games or remote work. the cottage is a true bungalow>small, efficient, well appointed, with terrific outdoor space close to everything the village has to offer. Directly across the street from the marina for ease of access to boating. Boat launch is off River St a few steps away. Easy access to Lake Leelanau at the end of Chandler or 4th Streets for kayaking and paddle boarding on Lake Leelanau. Large yard to spread out for yard games, BBQs, fires around the solo fire bowl. Walk or bike to ALL town has to offer. Easy access to Lake Michigan beaches off North Street or Reynolds. Always popular VANS Beach is an 9 minute walk. Visit the library or sit outside and listen to the bagpipes at church on Saturday evenings across the river. Truly special location.

Summary: Cottage was perfect for a couple's get-away. Leland is a quaint lake town. We were able to walk to town center and saw some beautiful summer sunsets. Cottage was wonderful and as described in the listing. Communication and check-in process were top-notch. Highly recommended!
