Welcome to JUST DOWNHILL. Our family has been skiing here for over 18 years and this is our Happy Place to vacation. We love this area for skiing but also for hiking, biking, fishing, national parks, Sundance, and family time.
Located between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon, this is your home away from home vacation destination. Just Downhill is an ideal location with access to all the ski resorts in Utah: minutes away from Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude or a 30-minute drive to Park City, The Canyons, and Deer Valley. (Schedule posted in the kitchen) Skiers/Boarders will love the private hot tub, ski rack in the garage, and boot dryer.
UPDATED JANUARY 2023: The ski bus stop 972 has been discontinued for the season. A car is needed to get to the bus stop parking lots (both within 5 minutes to either canyon.) It is deeply missed. You will need a parking reservation on the weekends or the cost is $25 to park. We are sorry for this change ( we are upset as well).
The open style kitchen is set for large groups, as everyone always gathers in the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked for home-cooked meals. There is also a gas grill on the patio.
The 2 family rooms make it ideal for adults and teens to have their own hang out spaces. Both containing large smart TVs for access to your Hulu, Amazon Prime, or Netflix.
Upstairs contains the master bedroom, a comfortable King bed with a spacious closet, enough to unpack for the entire week. The Master Bath has a large spa tub with stellar mountain views. Two other bedrooms are on the 2nd floor: King and Queen sleeping arrangements.
The cozy basement, "The Caps Haus Den", is where the sports/movies will be shown on tv with comfy couches. There is another King bedroom, along with the bunk room and a sofa bed in the common area. There is also a full bath on this level.
The patio has a grill, table, and a hot tub; great for apres skiing.

Enjoy all that Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons offer in the beautiful Wasatch Mountain Forest. During winter months, the ski bus is a short walk for access to:
Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and Solitude. In summer, enjoy the new mountain coaster at Snowbird Summer Resort, as well as endless hiking trails and world-class mountain biking. Fall boasts great foliage hikes and Oktoberfests at Snowbird and Park City.
This rental is also just five minutes from the freeway, so you can be in Park City and Deer Valley in about 30 minutes. If you decide to go into downtown Salt Lake City to check out the shopping and other cultural attractions, you're only about 19 miles from the heart of the city.
