Positive: I loved the beautiful view of the ocean from my room, the room was spacious and super comfy, the food was AMAZING and walking distance from restaurants, massage laces and grocery store. It was also a short drive from a Chinese medicine practitioner and physical therapist, which came in handy on the trip. Lastly, the staff was amazing. I Have never so eagerly parted with my money before I left but had to tip ALL of the staff because I couldn’t pick any one person who was excellent, I truly thought every single staff member was amazing!

Negative: While I loved my view, I disliked that the beach was not user friendly at all. There was no dance and literally no one ever went in the water. This was truly disappointing. The price was much higher than comparable properties in Bangkok, but I understand that this is in part because the weather in Samui is great during the rainy season.

Summary: Loved my stay, but disappointed that I couldn’t use the beach at a hotel on the beach.
