Three king suites, game room, fire pit, & fire place, new build!!
Hickory haven is a recently built cabin in Chalet Village that is centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This location is excellent and allows easy access to shopping, the Smoky Mountain National Park, Dollywood, and multiple activities and attractions. We have a large, flat parking lot that will accommodate multiple vehicles. No scary and steep hills to get to the cabin here!
Our cabin was designed for relaxation, comfort, and entertainment. We have a great game room that includes a pool table, video game console, multiple board games, along with a media area with large flat screen TV!
As you enter the cabin, a wide open floor plan will greet you. You will see a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, along with great furnishings that are comfortable and accommodating for a large group. Wood walls and ceilings throughout the cabin set the tone for a relaxing retreat. The chef of the family will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen , that will allow a delicious gourmet meal to be prepared with plenty of seating for everyone. For the grill master, a propane grill is available. And yes, we provide the propane!
We have three king bedrooms with private bathrooms, which will allow you to retreat when you need a little reprieve and quiet time alone.
If the pull of the mountains and outdoors call and take you outside, you can enjoy, not one, but two decks with great views!! You can enjoy and relax in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and adventurous activities in the Great Smoky Mountains and all your cares can float away. Alternatively, you can unwind and sip wine in front of the fire pit outside and enjoy the sounds of the mountains amongst the backdrop of twinkling cabin lights throughout the valley.
For guests that must stay connected, we offer high speed internet and cable TV.
We would love to have our cabin, Hickory Haven, involved in our guests having a wonderful vacation that will result in life long Commonly asked questions:
1) What household supplies are provided? We provide limited amounts of toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen trash bags, dish detergent, dishwasher pods, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, hair dryers, and 2 box fans.
2) What does the kitchen include? The kitchen is fully stocked with typical supplies. This includes blender, toaster, crock pot, waffle maker, keurig and regular coffee maker, pots/pans, utensils, wine glasses.
3) What baby items are supplied? High chair.
4) Propane grill
5) Are pets allowed? Under no circumstances do we allow pets.
6) Are hot tubs cleaned? We drain, clean, and refill the hot tub after every stay.
7) Is there an outdoor pool and community club house? Yes!! We have 3 community pools and clubhouses. Pools are open from Memorial Day weekend in May through Labor Day weekend in September.
8) Is price negotiable? No. Prices are as stated and no fees are reduced or eliminated.
9) When is second payment due? 30 days prior to your stay.
10) What time is check in and check out? Check in after 4pm and check out by 10 am.
11) How do cancellations work? Cancellations or shortened stays that are made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date are non-refundable. Cancellations due to weather are non-refundable.
12) How are roads to cabin? The roads are paved and well maintained. If snow or ice is present, 4 wheel drive or snow chains are recommended. That is a rule of thumb for all mountain roads. Also our cabin has a large flat parking lot
13) Are there any days that check in or check out is not permitted? Thanksgiving and Christmas.
14) Do you provide travel insurance? If cancellation is a concern, we recommend the purchase of cancellation protection from CSA. This does not go through us.
15) When will I get cabin address and cabin access information? The address, door code, and driving directions will be sent in a separate email after your final payment is made.
