Welcome to our home in arguably the most popular neighbourhood in the city! Within blocks of Queen Elizabeth Park and Vancouver’s first Michelin Star restaurant, “Published” on Main, you will find not only everything you need within blocks but also some of the City's choice treasures.
A complete renovation was finished in March 2023. Brand new kitchen and bathrooms with an Italian flair, a view of the mountains, the back wall of glass completely opening to the deck for indoor/outdoor living and gas grill, and lovely, quiet view with lots of greenery and birdsong.
The awesome Main St part of the city is home to beautiful tree canopied streets/ethnic and vegetarian restaurants/consignment shops/ boutiques/antique shops/grocery/pharmacy. Public transit is two blocks away: one bus to downtown, one bus to UBC, 10 min walk to Canada Line. Walk score 95. We are four blocks north of Queen Elizabeth park, the little mountain in the middle of the city with iconic views of the city and north shore mountains.
The home is the second floor of the house with three bedrooms and two baths with us living downstairs in the suite. We have a huge kitchen completely equipped to a chef's needs: henkel knives, cast iron enamel skillets, baking supplies, gas grill and 6 burner Viking stove. You are welcomed by fresh herbs and flowers. There are blackout curtains, a giant sectional couch for lounging and sleeping. The back deck is complete with table, chairs, love seat and chair for evening dining or morning coffee. Open the back wall for indoor outdoor living while playing jazz on the built in sound system.
