An architectural gem, this home was renovated in the 90's by Buffalo architect David Stieglitz. You’re sure to enjoy the open floor plan with plenty of skylights, plants, and lush vibes.

Since acquiring the property in 2012, I have added my own artistic touch, and I love sharing this incredible space with others.

The open-concept house features a kitchen with great layout for cooking & entertaining, a living room with a library wall and ladder, wood burning fireplace, master bedroom with claw foot bath, and a built-in SAUNA!

The first floor bedroom (queen) adjoins with the downstairs bath. A second bedroom features a tempur pedicure queen mattress. A third full sized bed is set up in the upstairs "art room" as well. An outdoor enclosed courtyard features lots of plants and Adirondack chairs in the summer.

In the summer it can get hot. We install 3 air conditioning window units into the sleeping areas, both bedrooms and the artroom.

This neighborhood houses mostly Puerto Rican families who are friendly neighbors, and in rear of the house I also host guests in the carriage house, another Vrbo listing!

The house is walkable distance to Tops, a grocery store 2 blocks away, and Allentown bars, galleries, and restaurants. There are severals parks nearby and LaSalle Park just a 10 minute walk, right along the water.

Uber & Lyft are your best options for public transport, however, there are buses and one metro line that can get you to University of Buffalo area.

If you are traveling with a car street parking is ample! Our street parking alternates during the week from 9am-4pm. Evenings and weekends you can park on either side.

We need to get in to clean at 11 for future guests, so unless otherwise specified you will be charged $10/hour cash for every hour you are late checking out.

Summary: House: For mid-century modern enthusiasts, this house will definitely be one that you’ll enjoy! It’s very unique in its design, and very open-concept (a little too much for our liking… the neighbor’s porch light illuminated the living room, hall, and main bedroom in the middle of the night. Light and sounds carried easily from room to room). Amenities: The kitchen was well stocked, but some of the appliances were in need of a good scrubbing. Location: The neighborhood itself seemed to be on the border of streets with lots of things to do and streets we definitely weren’t comfortable being on. But it seems like the neighbors do a good job of keeping an eye on things. Host: communication was AWESOME!! We had problems with the keypad at 10pm at night, and the host was so quick to respond and help us out (literally less than 3 minutes). And the recommendations for restaurants were super helpful!
