The 5 bedroom suites have ocean views, flat screen oversized tv's, private ensuite bathrooms, down comforters and pillows (plus alternative down options, hair dryers, shampoos /soaps and towels in each closet) and outdoor seating areas. There is also a bonus room in addition to the 5 bedrooms with 2 twin single bunk beds with an adjacent half bath.
The master bedroom has complete privacy , unobstructed ocean views with large chaise on its ocean facing balcony, a massage chair and an intimate Jacuzzi on its rear facing balcony. The master shower has multiple shower heads and the same white water views with a window that opens allowing fresh ocean breezes to circulate throughout the expansive bath area which includes double sinks and private bidet.
The lower level of the master suite features a six person dry sauna and a separate steam shower/sauna, a yoga/exercise room complete with massage table, rope wall, and other exercise props. The exercise room also has a full bathroom and closet and easily converts into an additional private bedroom( #5 )if desired.
The main living area has an open floor plan with soaring glass windows and ocean views from the living room, sitting room, kitchen, bridges and entry. The balcony off the kitchen and living room is furnished with 2 large movable tables with shaded seating for 12-14 and a Weber Natural Gas BBQ and is perched over the Del Mar Beach Colony and white water surf breaks, but remains amazingly private. Breathtaking sunsets, sounds of crashing waves, a gas fireplace, a flat screen entertainment center with HD digital cable, 3 high speed wifi zones to cover the entire estate, Sonos sound system inside and out, a 2 story atrium with oversized casual lounging, and a large flat screen TV and pool table all add to the experience at L'Auberge Del Norte.
The fully stocked gourmet kitchen has both center island seating for 8 and table seating for 10, and It is equipped with double 30" Blue Star commercial oven with a 6 burner range, griddle, open broiler and pot filler, a sub zero refrigerator/freezer and an abundance of small appliances including a microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, Blendtec blender, food processor, slow cooker, and more, kitchen ware, dinnerware, stemware, elegant serving pieces, spices, condiments... everything needed to prepare and serve gourmet meals.
A 2 car garage and a separate laundry room are contained in the building across the second glass bridge.. There is a separate outside office with printer and office supplies if needed to work outside the main building. There is an assortment of wet suits, beach chairs, foam surf boards, boogie boards, pool toys, balls, beach buggy, rolling cooler and an outside shower for post beach quick clean up.
There is abundant off street parking in the main driveway as well as a separate service driveway entrance. There is a large artificial turf yard in rear of house as well as chaises, dining tables and chairs, sitting areas, and old growth trees and foliage to insure privacy and beauty wherever you look.
The estate is fully air conditioned, although hardly ever needed, and offers an unprecedented feeling of space in the village of Del Mar whether it is for a family vacation, a wellness retreat or a couples reunion.
