Owl's Nest is the ultimate lake retreat! Our newly built modern farmhouse has the best of both worlds. It's nestled in the woods for that cozy cottage feel, yet right across from the community beach in the sought after community of The Waters at Lake Anna.
When we were searching for the perfect community to build our family lake home, we fell in love with the The Waters. The Waters community is like no other community at Lake Anna. It's the only community with a pool and amazing amenities at the clubhouse. We love the clubhouse area with a pool, tennis & pickle ball court and a marina with a boat ramp. At the marina, we provide a boat slip for our guests to use during their stay so you can either bring your boat or rent a boat locally for the perfect lake vacation! Our other favorite amenity is the community beach with an awesome kids playground and covered picnic area just across the street from Owl's Nest! When we found our lot to build our dream vacation home across from the beach, we knew our kids and grandkids would have years of memories in this family friendly community The Waters community is great for walking/jogging, and riding bikes and is minutes away from Food Lion and all the great restaurants in Lake Anna. Having the marina in the community for boats is also a great benefit.
Owls Nest was just finished being built and is chock full of amenities. Guests will love to relax on a cool evening with s'mores by the fire pit or spend the evening in the oversized, lighted hot tub with drinks! Our new patio is the crown jewel of Owl's Nest Modern Farmhouse Cozy Cottage and will be completed just in time for our September guests! Owls Nest is the perfect vacation for one or two families, for a couple wanting a romantic get-a-way, or a girls lake vacay! Everyone will love all the high-end details of this modern farmhouse cottage. You'll feel spoiled and may think you're in an episode of Fixxer Upper!
Owl's Nest has a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 king, rooms, one queen and the quad bunk room/playroom. All bedrooms have flat screen tv's, all new beds/sheets and we have high speed internet for working from home! The open concept floor plan of Owls Nest really lends itself to entertaining and relaxing with family and friends. The great room, kitchen and dining area is surrounded by 12 foot ceilings and huge transomed windows all around, which brings the outdoors in! The great room has a huge white shiplap fireplace with custom cabinetry, hardwood flooring and sliders opening to the patio, hot-tub, grilling and fire-pit area. The kitchen has high-end stainless appliances, white quartz counters, a walk-in pantry and a breakfast/dining room with a huge Restoration Hardware country dining table, surrounded by windows. This gourmet kitchen comes fully stocked!
The master suite on the main level, has a king bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and luxury blanket/quilts. Guests will enjoy the crisp white furniture, large flat screen TV, shiplap details in the master and master bath, walk-in closet and huge master bath with a soaking tub, double vanity, quartz counters and lots of windows.
There are two guest rooms also on the main level with a jack and jill full bath. The first guest room is a king bed and the second bedroom is a queen room, both with luxury Egyptian cotton sheets and cozy quilts. All bedrooms have flat screen TV's and Youtube TV.
The upper level has the cutest quad bunk room you've ever seen, truly Pinterest worthy! The bunk room is a kids paradise, full stocked with a white wood playhouse, play kitchen, kids play table/chairs, a 12 ft shuffleboard table and a flat screen TV with flip chairs. The bunk room has its own full bath. Kids will never want to leave!
Owl's Nest is not waterfront but is right across the street from the community beach which has a large playground area, covered picnic area and a sandy beach. You'll want to grab our kayaks and explore the lake or take our wagon and the kids and hang out at the beach for the afternoon or come early and watch the sunrise. Owl's Nest is conveniently located near Food Lion, restaurants, Lake Anna Winery, Lake Anna State Park which has so many activities for kids in the nature center and also has another huge beach, playground and kids hiking trails.

-This is not a waterfront property but water access. The community beach is right across the street and Owl's Nest has a Winter water view.
