1161 Summerwind is a fantastic, renovated, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage with the large kitchen floor plan. The kitchen is light and bright with white cabinetry, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Fully stocked and ready for your favorite recipes, including a 12 cup regular brew coffee maker. The dining room is bright and open with table seating for up to 6. The adjacent living room is highlighted by a vaulted ceiling and sliding doors that lead to the screened porch with beautiful views. This open floor plan is wonderful for gathering family and friends together to enjoy the best that Seabrook Island has to offer. Ample seating is available including a queen sleeper sofa. There is a living room television for STREAMING ONLY for your favorite Netflix shows.
You'll truly love the large screened porch overlooking the the 2nd hole of Ocean Winds golf course. What a wonderful place to relax after a day at the beach or enjoy a meal at the dining table with seating for 4.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, sliding glass doors to the screened in porch, and updated en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom also features a queen bed as well as access to the back deck. These two guest rooms share an updated hall access full bath.
Other features include: back deck with propane grill, outdoor shower and sink area for cleaning up after sandy beach days.
*Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes.
Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.
Gate pass car total is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment of $45/gate pass(es) is due at time of your final payment.
Any changes made less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival are non-refundable. If you add a gate pass less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, a $10 additional fee will apply.
THIS PROPERTY ALLOWS FOR A MAXIMUM OF 3 GATE PASSES TOTAL
Once the car has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive.
Amenity cards giving you access to the facilities of the Seabrook Island Club, are included in the rent. These cards give you access to the oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities except outdoor pool usage.
Take a walk on the 3 1/2 miles of wide open beach while watching the dolphin swim by, the pelican's dive for fish and the variety of birds on the beach. 1161 Summerwind Cottage is the perfect vacation spot.

Cancellation Policy:
For cancellation made up to 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee (60 days required for some larger homes).
For cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If we are able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest's under the terms of the Rental Agreement.
For monthly rentals the policy is as follows:
