Rent a beautiful townhouse in a gated community on Sunset Island - Ocean City’s most innovative resort community located on 37 acres on the bay! Located within an easy three-block walk to the ocean, this community has its own private bay-side beaches, outdoor pool and indoor pools, interactive fountain, club house and a boardwalk along the canal.
With maximum occupancy of 12, this luxurious home has four bedrooms and a den. Sleeping accommodations include one king-size bed, one queen-size bed, a day bed with trundle, three bunk beds with one double and six twins.
This home, with some views of the bay and the interactive fountain from three of its four decks is superbly equipped for an ideal family vacation at the beach. The many amenities include an outdoor shower, washer and dryer, two-car attached garage with two additional driveway parking space, three full plus two half baths, and a dining table that seats 12 with additional seating at the kitchen counter for two.
This home is beautifully decorated throughout. It has all the needed convenience items, including cable and phones in each room, a game table, and TVs on each level.
We are steps from the private beaches, sauna, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center,onsite restaurant, and corner market. Perfect for quick walks back home from the on-site beach, ocean, fishing pier, fitness center, onsite restaurant, interactive fountain or corner store. High speed internet included.
Over the years, my children and grandchildren have visited all of the local sites and can answer any questions you may have or make recommendations for activities for all age groups.
I visit alone as well as with my family, neighbors, members of my sorority, senior groups, book club, bridge club or just close friends. The guards warmly welcome you into our community and when you leave the community, you feel as if you have just left a private oasis, separate and apart from Ocean City. Thus, you have the excitement of Ocean City and its many attractions along with the quiet relaxation or entertainment on our island.
I love visiting during all seasons. During the fall, I love coming with my bridge group where we have fun tournaments. More recently, I have come alone with one or more grandchildren or my adult children. All of these visits provide an opportunity for special time with each grouping. I also love coming alone: visiting the casino, shopping at the outlets an having lunch beside the bay and reading a book and /or enjoying watching the waves crash against the shore.
I have many repeat guests. Family groupings always comment on the large kitchen table which seats 12 along with the two who sit at the counter, with 4 seats around the coffee table and two at the game table. There is plenty of room for everyone to gather together. We especially enjoy crabbing and adding our catch to those we buy from local vendors when we set up the long table in the garage for a big feast!!
Over the years, my kids and grandkids have enjoyed many pick up games in the grassy area nearby or just riding bikes along the boardwalk around the community. The younger ones love that they can go to the corner store alone since it is just at the end of the block. Others love that they can get a good cup of coffee in the morning or great ice cream in the evenings there.
My adult children have had many conferences there over the years and we have loved entertaining their colleagues over the years.
