The Space:
At Lazy Lucy Lodge, we know your dogs are part of the family and want them to feel as welcome as you do! This special home was designed with your four-legged family members in mind. No details were spared to ensure everyone will enjoy the ultimate in comfort and luxury. We even have a closet full of dog blankets so they can get cozy on the couch with you.
Speaking of couches, the living room at Lazy Lucy Lodge has a plush sectional couch and chairs to offer plenty of seating. Gather round, watch a movie on the Smart TV and turn on the gas fireplace when it's chilly out. The floor to ceiling windows mean you can enjoy the amazing views from inside, too.
When it comes to mealtime, the gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream, with top-of-the-line appliances, instant hot water valve, and coffee and tea station. Kitchen items include a blender, toaster, crock pot, baking dish, wok, insta pot, stock pots, hand mixer, bread pan, pots, pans and kitchen utensils. The six-person dining table and counter bar are perfect for entertaining.
At bedtime, retreat to your choice of three inviting bedrooms, each with a brand new deluxe king mattress and two with Smart TVs. The 3rd bedroom is just off the living room and has double doors which can be left open to watch TV from bed if you desire.
If you need to work while you're here, you'll find a work station in the master bedroom.
The master bedroom also features an ensuite bathroom with an incredible jetted tub that can maintain a temperature of 104 degrees for up to 4 hours! As well, there is a double vanity and a large, beautifully tiled walk-in shower.
You'll find another tiled walk-in shower in the guest bathroom. Both bathrooms provide complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
The laundry room has a large capacity washer and dryer, as well as a sink.
You'll have access to the oversize garage, so you can park your vehicle out of the elements, complete with an EV outlet (guests will need to bring their own adaptor).
From its well-appointed interior to its inviting outdoor spaces, Lazy Lucy Lodge was designed with your comfort and convenience in mind. Take your morning coffee outside onto the enclosed front porch. Warm up with the propane firepit while enjoying amazing views of the surrounding red cliffs.
At night, plan a BBQ with the propane grill and gather round the table to catch up on the day's adventures. The comfortable outdoor furniture makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. There's also another propane firepit, an outdoor stereo system and a peaceful fountain which attracts all kind of birds to the yard.
Your dogs will love the grassy area! And, if they get a little messy while out exploring with you, there's an outdoor dog washing station with both hot and cold water.
A large capacity generator ensures you'll never experience a power outage and an optional alarm system will give you peace of mind.
While this property is a pet-friendly property, there is a $75 pet fee if you plan on bring your furry friends. Pet Policy: We want and encourage you to bring your four-legged family member. A dear four-legged family member of ours was our inspiration in designing this home. However, in order to keep this home in excellent shape and ready for guests and their furry friends, pets are not allowed to be unattended in the home at any time. If you are going to leave your pet at the house, they must be in a crate. There are 2 XL 48 length,30 Wide, 32 Height crates located on the shelves in the laundry room, should you need them. Please understand and respect our policy.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the home, garage, and yard.
Keypad lock to open the door. We will send you a private lock code prior to your reservation.
The clubhouse is just a short walk away and offers a communal indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, gym, game room, and outdoor pavilion. Clubhouse and pool hours are 5AM to 11PM. The outdoor pool is closed for the winter from November 1st to the last week in May, weather permitting.
The Neighborhood:
The La Estancia neighborhood is the finest in Kanab. Master-planned, it features a clubhouse with an indoor & seasonal outdoor pool, gym & recreation room.
There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.
Equestrian and biking trails are also available.
Getting Around:
La Estancia is just minutes away from the charming and historic Kanab center, with its award-winning restaurants and shops. Our guests can hike, bike and walk directly to everything the town has to offer. Hwy 89 is less than a mile away providing access to our world-renowned national parks and recreational areas surrounding Kanab.
Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.
