This is five star home has over the winter had mural painting, rebuilt with Michael Angelo on ceiling many updates and gold lined on doors plus adding gold chandeliers .I have professional cleaners that come in their number on fridge if you need them. This new mural on ceiling and the sanding an painting by Quint ..when I hear people laughing an having a good time I love it. .the boat is a great addition with house ..night time being my favorite .Thankyou for your great reviews and 100 feet of natural preserve to the beach.. . . The house is located at 8 Palm Ct it is highest on IOP built by our 1st Mayor and on either side he built town Houses for his family .1st built on island and highest on island wonderfully done it is an older home with antiques from Fraisers and Prussian decents and original art plus Virginia Fouche original magnolia paintings 3000 each appraised.
Beautifully remodeled it is an Historic Southern home . The home can hold up to 10 with 2 separate kitchens and actually has a separate wings one with TV and Brazilian sofa and love seat the main living room and brass bed southern style on glassed in porch with 2 masters with queen beds and 20x20 bath with claw tub and walk in shower and another half bath for other master with robes. Then a hand tiled Marble top kitchen with colorfu l walled l tile to match clouds on ceiling and wooden butcher block table sits 6 and 2 stools pull up to counter top looking into kitchen which has glass window looking out.. then apartment has its own sofa with fold out queen bed and queen bed in separate bedroom and double in othher that leads out to porch . Den also has TV and mid modern antiques Then a porch deck with large washer dryers and white 6ft high fenced yards and separated by 6ft white fence surrounding property and separated at mid front ...it has washer /dryers ..2 sets. trees like a forest block the neighbors ..
.Lots of private space which is great for traveling with other families . It has 5 bedrooms / 5 beds one bedroom on porch my favorite southern style Great for children and pets .check out IOP recreational park two blocks back off 29th work out equipment and classes plus gym equipment for children. Rec center has indoor/ outdoor basketball and outdoor tennis courts and pickle ball Indoor workout. Also historic Charleston #1 city downtown ..10 mins to 20 mins according to time of day. Charleston always has something wonderful downtown going on... . TVs have Raku settings living room and one in den raku ,netflex ,HBO max, and sports channels .There are lots of restaurants, bars( open till 3 in morning so go to these after 10 :00 pm noise ordinance in residential areas) walking distance by beach plus award winning Wild Dunes golf course that follows the intercoastal waterway to Morgan's Creek on 41st There is restaurant and bar ..views of yachts or rent boat,charter fish off shore..ask harbor masters at dock.Downtown Isle of Palms for restaurants and bars or Boat House perfect for drink at sunset up top. Town center shopping right across connector also everything you need and a pharmacy CVS.

Great for swimming Isle of Palms has the access to safest swimming with a life guard at 21st beach the beach park close to the pier ..outside Wild Dunes you can live like a local .
Or go to front beach Isle 8of Palms that has shopping ,restaurants ,late night bars . Walk by beach 7 blocks ..and back towards Morgan Creek a restaurant and bar
The main living space has flowing sea blue curtains with leather sofa and loveseat with leather chair and solid wood butchers block dining table ..The glass closed in deck has a double brass bed and chest plus heat an ac central so it can be a bedroom or day room to play games in and a table with 6 chair outside with umbrella turn temperature to hot or cold on the hot tub...buttons - or + It is sanitized by saline an water changed after each renter .There is a hammock underneath grape vines

Back inside 1st floor there is a large kitchen with all kinds of cooking equipment professional mixers a meat slicer, pots pans glasses, silver ware ,dishwasher , a refridgerator with icemaker with half bath downstairs outside kitchen. There are robes supplied for the hot tub then at bottom of the stairs is a washer / dryer in closet another large professional washer on back porch. Then up the stairs there are two bedrooms with queen beds with libraries an beautiful solid wooden antiques . The first bedroom has beautiful sleigh bed with royal high back chair and solid maple dresser with marble tops from 1890 my great grandmother's .that happens to be in style today. Then a tiled bath from the ceiling to floor 20x20 with walk in shower and magnificent claw tub ,Large linen closet stocked with fluffy spa towels The second bedroom has large gold framed mirror done with white spread with downed comforter underneath and half bath.
down stairs to another bedroom on porch ( southern style but has heat an air vent also with woven bamboo screen .) An antique cabinet for clothes .Beautiful antique glass collectables with butter churn and other collectables from 1850 .Back down stairs hallway off kitchen you step into extension with one queen size sleeper sofa and raku TV living room with small wooden extension table that can be moved to living room of house for extra seating .Then bedrooms one queen size with white spread and head board .Then an antique double bed of carved wood that leads out to 23x8 deck. Then moving out towards the deck. There is a professional washer dryer with sensors for large loads Sliding door and walk in shower that has been redone in captain's yacht fashion with waterfall sink bowl set in beautiful antique surrounded by Hollywood lights around mirror.This is a walk-in shower cabin yacht style .This Mother in law can be entered from outside near dining room or beside kitchen down hall with separate Side entrance provides no steps to climb perfect for older parents . We keep our oak trees an Palms that help shade my home .Built in 1948 I flipped 4 homes after Hugo to get this home ..middle of the island and close to beach but alot of protection from traffic noise and people on Palm Blvd .. 2 kitchens one for townhouse and one smaller kitchen for early/late risers then a deck screened in porch 23 x 10 surrounded by plants that flower at night giving a wonderful smell in air at night, and a separate fenced in yard for dogs to stay in front..please clean up after your dog which I know is part of your family.also dog fee $100 a dog an flea protection at least 2 weeks before arrival.Orkin is treating yard and house .. The back closed in yard in under renovation and I need help moving things around and painting stairs white so please excuse .Go to l beach at Palm Blvd 1/2 block to beach access at 29th or 30th to the Beach..I like 30th ... . The perfect way to travel with older children or younger or aging families . Please shower outside with artsy shower on tree before hottub or hose that is in back an eventually a bath house...Remove sand from you before getting in hot tub it can burn up motor
The children must use hot tub under supervision of parent.Please pick hot tub top up by handles because it could rip . No smoking of any kind on any part of the ground ..Early Risers can have privacy and their own kitchen for older children, aging parents ,other families .The gas stove has to be turned on by lifting cover top and lighting middle gas lighting gap because of safety from small children... Anyone that Requires Their Own Space and Privacy But You Are In the Same House ...P-E-R-F-E-C-T- .. . For people that love their own privacy . Charleston Style /.Big White Fence ++Hot Tub you can cool down in summer kids love to play in it../Swing/Hammock /1 Grill/2 kitchens smaller one in extension Rec Center Behind with every Sport and classes.. Summer do not open windows ..and leave HVAC on auto fan if you turn to on it brings in hot air . Pull the blinds up if you wish ...easy island life ..8 x 3 miles . Find "da beach" or downtown you should not miss.It would take you years to cover all Charleston historic areas There is a gallery walk every 2nd Tuesday of the month with wine an appetizer s. Enjoy my beautiful older home the 1st built by our first Mayor Soutile making it highest elevation on Isle of Palms an not touched by Hugo. ..The natural woodland surrounding home reflects my love of nature especially trees which easily drop temperatures 20%in hot summer There is hygenic cleaning by Portuguese crew excellent and laundry closet upstairs has light bulbs of all kinds .
