Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The place is new, clean, and roomy. It's very close to the airport and Māngere Mountain. This is a great place to stay before our departure. The kitchen has a real refrigerator, an oven, a dishwasher, and even a food disposal.

Negative: The biggest problem with this place is it's right by the main road. The traffic noise is really loud. You can even feel the vibration when trucks pass by. You can close the windows to cut down the noise but then you don't have air flow because there is no AC or heat pump in the house. There is no coffee maker in this place. We stayed at 12 places in New Zealand during our one-month-long trip. This is the only place not having any kind of coffee maker. We brought our own coffee but couldn't make any. We are ok with both bathrooms upstairs. But, there are no trash cans, hand towels, or wash clothes in the bathrooms. All of the furniture is cheap. The couch is super uncomfortable. We could feel broken springs when we sat on it. The beds are squeaky. The coffee table had a broken leg when we arrived and the staff had to come back the next morning to fix it.

Summary: Could be a much better place with a few easy fixes.
